Haley Nolan

Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer

Haley Nolan is a Pittsburgh-based choreographer, educator, and performer. She is the founder of Nolan Dance Collective—a project-based dance company that delves into the bold athleticism of movement, the complexities of human relationships, and the exploration of empathy experienced through art. A graduate of Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a concentration in choreography, Haley brings a dynamic approach to her work, specializing in contemporary fusion and contemporary partnering.

Her choreography has been presented at numerous concerts, festivals, and universities including Seton Hill University, Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy, Texture Choreography Project, KoDaFe 2024 in NYC, and DUMBO Dance Festival. Haley is on faculty at Thrive Dance Experience and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Seton Hill University. Through her company, Nolan Dance Collective, she strives to build a supportive community for dancers by providing performance opportunities in New York City, along with open community classes for professional and pre-professional artists.

At the core of Haley's philosophy is the belief that dance is a language of movement, deeply rooted in sensation, mystery, and interpretation. Her work seeks to cultivate not only skilled dancers but also empathetic storytellers—artists who are aware of their impact on the world and others.
